How to find the playground in Heybridge Basin

Go up the stairs at the Daisy Meadow car park and walk along the seawall.

Turn left and walk for 5 minutes and you will reach the playground.

What equipment is at the Heybridge Basin Playground?

The small, enclosed playground has a climbing frame with slide, swings, climbing equipment, a roundabout, spinning equipment, climbing rope pyramid and ride on equipment.

There are playing fields surrounding the play area and there are also more wooden climbing equipment.

Where to eat and drink in Heybridge Basin?

Between the car park and playground there are plenty of places to stop for food and drink including

Daisy Meadow Kiosk
The Lock, Tiptree Tearoom Heybridge Basin
The Old Ship Inn Pub
The Jolly Sailor Pub

We stopped at the Daisy Meadow Kiosk and had tea and cake at one of their benches overlooking the water. They also served breakfast and lunch rolls. The staff were super friendly and prices reasonable
