The Destination @ Lakeside at Lakeside Shopping Centre in Essex offers year round family activities and attractions at The Quay Lakeside. Check out this FREE beach and splash pool from Friday 26th July until Sunday 1st September. The Destination @ Lakeside is open Monday - Saturday 12pm-9pm and Sunday 12pm-8pm. Splash Pool closes at 6pm.

There are water fountains at Jubilee Beach in Southend-on-Sea. The Southend Water Fountains are a great FREE way to cool off. The fountains are located at City Beach in central Southend. The fountains are close to lots of family favourite Southend attractions including Adventure Island, the Sealife Centre, Adventure Inside, Southend Pier and the many classic seaside arcades.

Harlow Town Park Splash Pad has a new mural this year. Harlow Town Park has so much to do this summer! Did you know it is FREE to enter the farm at Harlow Town Park? Pets' Corner is a great attraction at Harlow Town Park! There is also 2 hours free parking, making this a great free day out in Essex. Read our post all about it HERE!

Splash Pad - King Georges Playing Fields NOW OPEN!

The Brentwood Splash Park is is open! You can find water jets, fountains, sidewinders, directional jets and cylinder spray at the King George's Playing Fields Splash Pad. The Splash Pad at King Georges Playing Fields opens when the weather is over 15 degrees. Sessions run between 10am and 3pm. Sessions must be prebooked. All sessions are 25 minutes long. Children £4.50 Adults Free.

The Splash Pad is next to the large playground, which was revamped in 2022. The playground has so much equipment suitable for toddlers to teenagers.
The Pavilion Water Park NOW OPEN!

The Waterpark at Clacton Pavilion looks brilliant! The splash park has a pirate theme. You can find climbing frames, slides, water spray and bucketfuls of water fun. The water park is open all week, sessions 10am - 12pm, 12 - 1.30pm, 1.30 - 3pm, 3 - 4.30pm. You can also find adventure golf and lots of seaside attractions at the Pavilion. Peak £7.99 per person. Off Peak £4.99 per person.

Splash Pad - Barking Park NOW OPEN!

There is a Splash Pad in the middle of Barking Park! There are also SEN sessions.
Sessions are 90 minutes long - Children £7, Under 2s FREE, Adult £4.

Splash Pad - Grays Riverside Beach NOW OPEN!

There is a Splash Pad at Grays Riverside Beach. The Grays Riverside Beach Splash Park is open from 11am until 6.30pm (weather dependent). Wristbands for the Splash Pad can be purchased from Lightship Cafe on the day. £2.99 for 30mins and £4.99 for 1 hour.
