Join the Education Ranger for a New Year walk around Hainault Forest. See what nature the New Year brings and learn all about the Heritage of the forest. This walk will be approximately 2km in length along the footpaths of the forest. Free, booking required

Roding Valley Park

Work in partnership with Trees for Cities and plant trees along the River Roding. Times and meeting points will be confirmed in the New Year, keep an eye on the Trees for Cities website for more detail

If you have always wanted to lie in a hammock, whittle your own stick for roasting marshmallows, strike a fire lighter, build a den or read a story in the cosy scandinavian yurt then a Family Forest Fun Day is just for you! £7 per child

Make a bird feeder during the Big Garden Birdwatch weekend to feed the hungry birds in your garden. Whilst you explore the garden complete our bird themed family trail. The family trail and bird feeder making costs £2.
